If You Are New to the Williston Community Food Shelf

Services Area

The Williston Community Food Shelf serves families living in Williston, St. George, Richmond and Essex.  If you do not live in one of these towns, we encourage you to visit the Vermont Food Bank website to find the food shelf nearest you.  Click here to go to the Vermont Food Bank "Find a Food Shelf" webpage.  

Eligibility

We welcome new families to the Food Shelf.  You do not need an appointment when coming to the Food Shelf for the first time, but you will need to:

  • complete a registration form
  • bring a valid form of identification
    • a valid driver's license or other form of ID, and
    • a copy of a current utility bill or piece of mail verifying your current address

Please plan to visit the Food Shelf to register during regular food shelf hours:

Tuesdays:    5:00pm - 6:30pm
Thursdays:   9:00am - 11:00am
Saturdays:    9:00am - 11:00am
 
Registered families are welcome to visit the Williston Community Food Shelf twice, per family, per month.
